Job Description
Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a company looking for a Senior Accountant.This is an onsite position located in Dallas, TX.
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the Controller and accounting team by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role will also contribute to process improvements and help implement best practices for efficiency and control.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting & Reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, inventory, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare internal financial reports and schedules for management review.
Cost Accounting
• Support the Controller in tracking and reconciling inventory, including standard cost updates and variance analysis.
• Review and analyze manufacturing costs, margins, and production variances.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and year-end physical inventory processes.
Compliance & Audit
• Assist with annual financial statement audit preparation and respond to requests.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures.
• Assist in implementing best practices and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Experience:
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis functions).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
