Senior Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, with experience in manufacturing job cost and regulatory reporting. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Duties · Assist in the management of all aspects of accounting: billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, cost accounting and various special analysis. · Oversee payments of all accounts; ensuring accounts are paid on time. · Create and distribute 1099’s to independent contractors. · Supply information for year-end as requested by an outside accounting firm. · Prepare special reports as requested · Prepare job cost and gross profit reports · Act as back up to HR for payroll processing, Worker’s Compensation filing and Disability claim processing. · Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance · Seven (7) or more years in an Accounting role · Manufacturing job cost experience a must. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications · Intermediate to advanced Excel skills · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Accounting principles and software · Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor · Must be a proactive, self-starter who is highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously · Strong attention to detail · Ability to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients · Intermediate mathematical skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Accounting: 5 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Trappe, PA 19426: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
