Senior Accountant - Residential Real Estate Hybrid - Midtown Manhattan (3 days/week) $120,000-$135,000 base + bonus | 100% company-paid benefits A premier NYC-based real estate investment management firm is seeking aSenior Accountantto join their Residential team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, long-tenured accounting group that values mentorship, teamwork, and high-impact work. As Senior Accountant, you'll report to the Assistant Controller and be responsible for the full accounting cycle across 4-5 residential properties. The role involves monthly financial reporting, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, real estate escalations, and more. You'll also work closely with asset managers, leasing agents, and property managers, gaining visibility across departments. What You'll Do: • Manage end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of 4-5 residential properties • Prepare monthly accrual-based financial statements and journal entries • Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules • Perform bank and escrow reconciliations, monitor cash flow • Calculate operating and real estate tax escalations • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and respond to external audits • Assist in budgets, forecasts, and property-level reporting during transactions What You Bring: • 4+ years of residential real estate accounting experience • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Strong Excel skills; Yardi experience a plus • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and collaborative attitude Compensation & Perks: • Base salary up to $135,000 • Discretionary bonus • 100% company-paid medical and dental • 401(k), pension, wellness benefits, and employee discounts • Hybrid schedule: Monday and Friday remote Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
