Job Description

Summary:

Responsible of BD and BARD Taiwan entities for all aspects of financial accounting, including but not limited to month end closing, annual audit preparation, tax compliance, inter-company recharge and cost allocation reporting, fixed asset management, inventory valuation, cash flow analysis, accounts payable, accruals, budget preparation, variance analysis, ad hoc analyses, special projects, etc.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Monthly closing, year-end closing, annual statutory audits (including supporting external auditors), monthly tax filings, US GAAP SOX compliance, bank reconciliations, inter-company billings/recharges, foreign exchange transactions, periodically review Inventory values, monthly fixed assets reviews, annual depreciation schedules, cash flow forecasting, periodic balance sheet reviews, cash flow analysis, monthly A/P, A/R, C/O, S/L, R/O aging reports, budgets, quarterly variance analysis, unfunded commitments, and other related duties as assigned.

2. Cost Calculation: Calculate and analyze product costs to ensure the accuracy of cost data, including but not limited to TP cost impact for country.

3. Inventory Management: Tracking and managing inventory levels finished products and annual stock-take task.

4. The individual will also work closely with both internal and external parties, such as business team, SCM, customers, suppliers, bankers, tax advisors and auditors.

6. Also, this individual should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good PC literacy (MS Excel & PowerPoint) and excellent interpersonal skills.

7. Must be able to multi-task effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

8. Assist in development and maintenance of new systems if needed

9. Support corporate compliance by adherence to internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

10. Ad-hoc tasks support

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification. CPA qualified would be advantageous but not essential.

At least 8 years of relevant work experience required.

Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

Excellent PC skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI)

Experience in SAP and local ERP system will be added advantage

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Time management skills, and self-motivated to learn and grow.

Effective communicator at all levels of the organization
