What You'll Do: Accounting Operations & Reconciliation • Transaction Management: Oversee the complete flow of accounting transactions, from data entry to reconciliation, ensuring accuracy at every level. • Month-End & Year-End Closing: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. • Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations for all accounts, contracts, and fixed assets, identifying discrepancies and resolving them proactively. Financial Reporting & Analysis • Reporting: Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for internal stakeholders and external auditors. • GAAP Compliance: Ensure all financial records are in compliance withUS GAAP, following accounting standards, and assisting with audits as needed. • Variance Analysis: Analyze financial results, identify trends, and assist management with providing recommendations for improving financial performance. Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Cross-Department Coordination: Work alongside departments like finance, operations, and project teams to ensure smooth service delivery and identify opportunities for operational improvements. • Inventory & Fixed Assets: Monitor inventory levels and track fixed assets, providing monthly status reports and supporting audits. • Process & System Development: Help develop and implement new accounting processes or systems, ensuring scalability as the business grows. What We’re Looking For: • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years in accounting. The more advanced your skillset, the more senior and higher-paying roles we can offer. • Bachelor’s in accounting or finance or related degree strongly preferred Compensation: • Senior-Level Roles: For senior accounting positions, compensation typically ranges from $35 to $70 per hour, depending on experience, role complexity, industry, and location. • Associate-Level Roles: For candidates at the staff level, compensation generally ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, based on experience and role requirements.
