Job Description

The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for helping direct the accounting team by performing a wide variety of regular accounting activities necessary for the operation of our business and compliance with local and federal regulations. This position also provides backup support for the accounting functions, i.e. accounts/payable, payroll, and accounts receivable and performs special projects as assigned. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for management and accounting-related functions that could including: · Helps to manage the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation with direction from Controller. · Leads month-end closing process, including AP entries and GL reconciliations · Oversees bank and credit card reconciliations including monthly employee Credit Card Account reconciliation & record in Spectrum · Help manage audit preparation and support tasks · Process cash receipts for Accounts Receivable · Oversees data entry of invoices and other support for Accounts Payable. Will be primary contact to maintain relationship with third party vendor. · Prepare or support preparation and filing of city and state B&O taxes, quarterly fuel tax refunds, and other tax filings as required · Back-up Payroll department and run as needed in Specialist absence · Document accounting procedures with a focus on streamlining processes · Ensures fixed assets inventory listing is accurate · Will lead efforts to streamline reporting to improve efficiency · Perform other accounting and special projects as requested · Helps ensure compliance with GAAP and construction specific regulations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • At this time this role is in person 5 days per week.
