- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable invoices.
- Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
- Reconcile and record receipt entries into CC software Concur on a weekly basis.
- Serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external accounts payable inquires.
- Maintain timely and courteous communication with external and internal vendors/departments.
- Drive efficiencies and improvements for accounts payable processes in accordance with SOX compliance requirements.
- Collaborate cross departments to perform ad-hoc analysis to assist with the development and progression of the business and department.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- File, maintain, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.
- Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices.
- Perform other duties assigned to support the accounting department and supervisor.
- 4-5 years accounts payable experience; including high volumes (2,000+ invoices/month)
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Detail orientated with strong customer service focus.
- Proactive in anticipating issues and able to think outside of the box to resolve issues promptly.
- Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Word. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel required.
- Scheduling flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed based on workflow, deadlines and/or special projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or related field preferredÂ
