The Senior Analyst, Compliance Analytics reports to the Director, Compliance and is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and depicting compliance related data to identify potential patterns, trends, and risks that are of interest to Cheniere’s mission of maintaining a strong compliance culture. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES In this role, you will support the team members within the Compliance & Ethics Team by generating reports, dashboards, and tools to assist Legal Compliance leadership in decision-making and to monitor key compliance performance metrics and risk indicators. You will be responsible for supporting risk mitigation efforts by analyzing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and compliance related patterns and trends. The Senior Analyst, Compliance Analytics will work with data owners and Cheniere subject matter experts to aggregate data from various sources to derive data driven insights and enhancements for compliance analysis. Specifically, the Senior Analyst will: β€’ Use advanced analytic techniques and tools to review large, complex, and/or disparate data sets to identify compliance related trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern. β€’ Collaborate with IT department to define and translate business requirements to guide data sourcing, visualization efforts, and analytical tool selection. β€’ Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance data interpretation, reporting best practices, and practical dashboard use.Monitor industry best practices and stay current on latest trends in compliance analytics and visualization. β€’ KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Experience designing and delivering technical solutions to meet complex business requirements. Experience working in a commodity trading environment would be considered a plus. Specifically, the successful candidate would have: β€’ Proven experience with data analysis, utilizing tools like excel, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms to analyze and present data with a compliance perspective. β€’ Programming experience in VBA, C#, Python, R, SQL and similar languages. β€’ Proven experience in a compliance organization dealing with data review, auditing, and monitoring. β€’ Familiarity with defining data queries and manipulating large data sets from multiple sources to provide compliance analytics. β€’ Effective collaboration and communication skills to describe data interpretations and insights to internal stakeholders. β€’ High level of integrity: strong attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. β€’ Must possess deductive reasoning skills, be able to analyze and synthesize information for problem solving. β€’ Must have strong oral and written communications skills, be able to work effectively and build relationships with others. β€’ Must have good organization and planning skills, demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation based on past work experiences.Ability to work independently from others and as part of a team. β€’ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE β€’ Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Law, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. β€’ Experience: β€’ Five (5) or more years of experience in a compliance domain such as trade compliance, anti-bribery/anti-money laundering, sanctions, policy governance, or compliance and ethics, or enterprise risk. β€’ Experience building and analyzing large volumes of to meet complex compliance business requirements.Experience working in a commodity trading environment a strong plus. β€’ ADA JOB REQUIREMENTS Reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure that the essential functions of the job can be performed and not hinder the employee's performance due to physical, mental or emotional disability.
