Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust & Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, working with databases, and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MapReduce).
- Experience working on product policy analysis and identifying policy risks.
- Experience working on Large Language Models (LLMs), or analyzing ML or LLM model performance.
- Experience with performance in risk management at the project and organization levels.
- Demonstrated collaborator and creative thinker, including ability to drive teams spanning a variety of roles.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. As a Senior Analyst on the Ecosystem and Integrity Strategic Readiness team, you will partner closely with our Platforms and Devices product partners to gather requirements, assess user risks, and plan and implement mitigation strategies to launch safe and responsible GenAI products. In addition, you will collaborate with Google's central Trust and Safety Responsible AI teams to design, execute, and analyze safety testing outcomes for our products. You will manage many stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and execute quickly in order to shape the future of AI development, ensuring that Google's AI products are safe, fair, and unbiased.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and/or upsetting topics or content.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, policy, and Responsible AI experts to scope GenAI testing requirements in support of Google's Platforms and Devices GenAI products.
- Facilitate and coordinate orchestration across Trust & Safety teams, the product launch team, and other relevant teams to conduct risk assessments, safety testing, and ensure pre-launch risk mitigations are appropriately communicated and/or addressed.
- Use technical and user-safety oriented judgment to triage preliminary launch risks. Analyze model and safety filter outputs, and recommend risk mitigations that improve user safety and enhance trust.
- Enhance operational workflows via process improvements and identification of automation opportunities.
