Senior Analyst, Safety by Design, Trust and Safety

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience with data analysis, managing risk, AI, or Trust & Safety.
• Experience with SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in project management, structured and logical thinking, process optimization, stakeholder communications, and influencing without authority.
• Experienced in working with product teams to measure risks and design mitigations.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Intake new products with a focus on AI technologies. Scope new launches, assess risk, and build a T&S launch plan.
• Develop and optimize processes to onboard new products to T&S.
• Develop methodologies to measure risk, and the effectiveness of risk mitigation.
• Influence product design so that safety principles and trust-oriented technologies are baked directly into the product development cycle from the very start.
