Senior Angular Developer - Belgrade - Hybrid

As a Portfolio BI Product engineering team member, you will be tasked with helping take the PBI product suite to the next level. You will be involved in the full product life cycle, from design through release. As a Senior Angular Engineer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our data workflow and reporting product, catering to the needs of alternative asset managers. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.

You will:

• Design and develop user interfaces for web applications using JavaScript and Angular
• Collaborate with product team and backend developers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and responsive UI solutions
• Implement best practices and standards for UI development, testing, and accessibility
• Troubleshoot and debug UI issues and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Optimize UI performance and scalability for large-scale and complex applications
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in UI development and fintech industry

Our Technology Stack:

• Platform - .NET Core, SQL Server, Angular, DevExpress, ProtoBuf, Apache Kafka, GraphQL, Azure
• DevOps - Git (Bitbucket), TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Docker/Kubernetes

• 8+ years of proven experience in UI development, preferably for fintech applications

• Prior experience in the finance sector or working on financial products is desirable
• Proficient in Angular and generally in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with UI testing tools and frameworks. such as Selenium
• Strong experience with version control systems
• Experience working with relational databases, specifically MS-SQL
• Familiarity with data lifecycle, reporting, calculations, aggregations, and data entry concepts
• Experience with commercial 3-rd party libraries, especially DevExtreme or others is a plus
• Experience with cloud services - Azure-AD, Azure-SQL is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation in English language
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field is a plus
