Senior Application Architect in Banking (f/m/x)

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Architect in IBM Consulting you’ll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You’ll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
Your primary responsibilities include:

• Design and implement integration solutions to facilitate data exchange between systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes and configurations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to enhance integration capabilities.
• Provide training and support to team members on integration tools and practices.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure compatibility of integrated systems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 14+ years of experience in working in App Connect Enterprise IIB or WMB
• At least 10 years of experience in working in Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX) and / or ITX
• Strong hands on knowledge in Websphere MQ
• Strong SQL (PL / SQL on Oracle MSSQL and Sybase) development experience
• Good understanding in usage and configuration of a source code repository (preferred SVN and GIT)
• Good knowledge in Jira workflow management.
• Good knowledge on scripting technologies like Powershell/Shellscript
• Good knowledge in healthcare and manufacturing industry pack of ACE/IIB.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud and Generative AI.
• Basic Knowledge in Websphere Business Monitor (BAM).
• Strong understanding and implementation experience of API integrations middleware and data mapping techniques.
• Experience in visualizing & describing complex topics / bring them on paper
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Strong experience in SW Design work and able to define standards and rules for the team
• Eager / motivated to learn new things
• Willing to be “On call” (day and night) support during public holiday and release go lives (shared responsibility of the Onshore team)
• Basic knowledge in JAVA

Required Functional Expertise

• At least 8 years of experience in working in Private Banking integration domain
• At least 5 years of experience in working in payments/Retail Banking integration domain
• Strong expertise in Swift integration
• Strong expertise in Corporate Action integration.
• Should have experience of delivering at least 1 large digital transformation (mobile / portal) program using IIB/MQ/ACE technologies
• Experience in working in integration project in Health care domain Government industries Chemical industry domain and Manufacturing domain would be a plus.
