Role: - Senior Associate Consultant (Technical Business Analyst-Reconciliations)
Location: - Sydney
Status - 1 Year fixed term, extendable based on project requirement

JOB DESCRIPTION: -
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in reconciliation processes to join our team at a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will possess solid data analysis skills and experience in handling reconciliation workflows, with a strong understanding of financial systems such as Oracle Financials and Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM). Expertise in using Excel and other tools for process optimization and automation will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis efforts focused on improving and streamlining reconciliation processes in banking operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements related to reconciliations and financial systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify reconciliation discrepancies, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reconciliation processes into financial systems and ensure that business requirements are met.
- Leverage tools such as Excel and other data transformation technologies to automate and enhance reconciliation activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize Oracle Financials and other financial tools in relation to reconciliation workflows.
- Create detailed business and technical documentation, including requirements, user stories, and specifications for system enhancements.
- Identify issues in reconciliation workflows and work proactively to resolve them, minimizing errors and improving operational efficiency.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and audit requirements.
- Prepare accurate reconciliation reports and deliver them in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking operations, particularly within reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience with data analysis in financial reconciliations.
- Familiarity with Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) for managing financial transactions and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency with Oracle Financials, including its functionalities for reconciliation and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with other data transformation tools to improve reconciliation processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements and analysis into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize reconciliation workflows and improve financial operations.
- Attention to details and the ability to identify issues within complex reconciliation processes.
- Strong Tech Business Analysis experience, lead level exp will help
- Strong Data analytical skills and ideally have knowledge of Oracle financials
- Banking Experience with Reconciliations experience or very strong in-depth knowledge.
- Knowledge of TLM will be added benefit
- Knowledge of any tools like excel, etc to enable recons transformation
