Senior Associate Consultant -Java Springboot and Microservices

Infosys is seeking Senior Associate Consultant -Java Springboot and Microservices. Candidate will be a skilled and experienced Java fullstack Developer. Candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and high-performance web applications using Spring Boot. You will be responsible for designing and implementing back-end services, collaborating with front-end developers, and ensuring the robustness and security of applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of experience Java, Spring Boot Microservices, RESTful, Kafka, GitHub.
• Strong at Object Oriented concepts & Data Structures.
• Experience working with any RDBMS database (PostgreSQL /)
• Experience working with any Frontend frameworks (Angular)
• Experience with TDD practices / frameworks (JUnit (Java) / Jest (React) / Karma / Jasmine)
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

• Knowledge of Cloud Implementation - Azure, Kubernetes/Docker
• Experience in developing & deploying Microservices, Data Modelling, Database Design, Tuning Design Parameters, Normalization, Solving Performance bottlenecks
• Experience in Middleware, Open-Source tools & technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in Production support is good to have
• Experience with monitoring tools is good to have
• Good Communication and Analytical skills
  
  The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
