Senior Autonomy Integration Engineer - Commercialization Team

We are currently hiring for a Senior Autonomy Integration Engineer in the Autonomy Integration -
Commercial team. You'll work across robotics software, firmware, and physical platform to bring new
autonomous vehicle programs onto the road and functioning. The ideal candidate will be motivated to
explore new technologies and also think pragmatically about the challenges to be solved. You’ll work as a
leader on a global cross-functional team to anticipate and resolve problems, launch vehicles, and ensure
software, hardware, safety, and testing deliver a functional and safe autonomous vehicle. An ability to
understand both the technical stack that autonomous vehicles use (software, hardware, and everything
between) as well as the technologies market applications and realities will be key to success in this role.

What You'll Do
● Act as an autonomy SME and/or lead in new platform bring-up and deployment, ensuring
success across then stack
● Collaborate with Engineers, Program, and Product Managers across the organization to integrate
software, firmware, and hardware and get new autonomous platforms out on the road
● Provide insight to the strategy and engineering teams to improve future vehicle bring-ups
● Work directly with on-the-ground teams in Las Vegas and Los Angeles to bring vehicles up,
diagnose issues, and drive resolutions

What We're Looking For
● Strong understanding of robotics systems including sensors, actuators, mechanical, algorithms
and software systems
● Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to think logically and remove bias from evaluation
of problems
● Experience writing robotics software and working in robotics organizations
● Experience working on and leading large scale cross-functional projects
● 2-4 years of experience working with autonomous vehicles or similar
● Strong understanding of operations and logistics
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Flexible schedule and willingness to attend evening/night meetings
● 25% travel
● B.S in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Robotics
Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or M.S. with 2+ years of experience

Bonus Points
● M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a
related field
● Experience bringing up autonomous vehicle programs and getting them on the road
● Integration, Sales, or Applications engineering experience
● Former product and/or program management experience
● Experience leading cross functional teams or projects
● Knowledge of Python or C++
● Knowledge of electric vehicle
