Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect for a DoD program. This role will design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions for DoD applications. With a focus on AWS technology, this role requires proficiency in architecture and cloud management to optimize system performance. This position is central to advancing cloud capabilities, ensuring security, and enhancing operations on both classified and unclassified platforms. This role is on-site, five days a week and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS215, T5, Band 8 Job-Specific Minimum Requirements: • At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area to include web applications systems integrations. • A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience. • Three (3) years of recent and relevant experience with DoD AWS Unclassified, Secret and Top-Secret cloud integrations, microservices and container platforms (such as, but not limited to, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, AWS EKS), etc.). In addition, experience in hybrid monolithic deployments using VMs, OVAs, EC2s and using Kubernetes to manage container deployments. Required Certifications: • Must have at least two (2) of the following trainings or certifications.
