How you can help make a better world of work
Weâre looking for an experienced brand designer to join Culture Ampâs creative team within the marketing practice. A key focus of the role will be driving the creative development and design execution for our global community event, Culture First Global 2023. You will work closely with our creative team and events, growth and digital marketing teams to bring our event strategy to life. With the support of a multidisciplinary team of illustrators, motion editors and writers, youâll have the opportunity to build on the Culture Amp brand and explore applications across event themes and a multi-channel experience (digital and physical) to engage, inspire and support our customers and community.
You are a design generalist, who brings curiosity to everything you do. You know how to tell an engaging story and skillfully take stakeholders and collaborators on the journey with you. Youâre equipped with strong conceptual skills and have what it takes to bring ideas to life through polished execution and continuous iteration and learning. A successful brand designer brings together innovative ideas, design thinking, craft and collaboration to drive successful projects and outcomes.

Creative is an integral part of Culture Amp and design is instrumental in creating memorable and impactful brand experiences, connecting our audiences with Culture Ampâs mission of creating a better world of work. This is an opportunity to dive into being part of a fast-growing marketing team to help bring our Culture First Global event to life, and the Culture Amp brand more broadly. Â
As part of this team of amazing humans
You willÂ
- Drive the creative direction and execution of Culture Ampâs signature event series Culture First Global and associated campaigns and promotion
- Create a broad range of multi-channel design concepts to enhance the Culture First event campaign narrative and translate these into a wide range of compelling assets. These could include digital ads and social media assets, editorial and report content, in-person event kits, event presentations and physical signage and space design, merch, video, virtual event hub branding and user interface design
- Inspire, motivate and collaborate with a team of mixed creative disciplines; designers, illustrators, photographers, motion designers and video editors to guide and art direct high-quality design outcomes
- Utilize and build on existing brand assets to build new, fresh creative
- Present design vision and solutions to stakeholders, communicate the impact of design in solving business problems, rationalise decisions and incorporate feedback
- Partner with cross-functional teams in marketing and across the business - content, events, digital, product marketing, community and brand to up level project delivery in the process of working on design projects
You haveÂ
- 5+ years working as a brand designer in-house, or equivalent agency experience. Experience working in a fast growth business is highly desirable
- Proven experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary creative team to deliver complex brand and design projects end-to-end. Direct experience with event branding and multi-channel rollout is desired
- Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to connect and simplify complex ideas and evolving project requirementsÂ
- Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate the âwhyâ, and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions
- A growth mindset and passion to experiment with new ideas, develop and improve your skills
- Required technical skills and competencies:
- High proficiency with Figma (or Sketch) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Familiarity with motion editing foundations is a bonus.Â
