About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technology solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse business problems, business processes, gather requirements, and propose solutions to address various business challenges and opportunities. You will lead by example by embracing the Agile principles and BA Best Practices and will provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.

We are seeking a candidate who is enthusiastic about occasional in-office collaboration. This role provides a unique opportunity to connect directly with our stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and enhancing relationships.

Job Description

• Highly collaborative role which involves working within a passionate cross-functional team including Product Management, Engineering and Product Designers.
• Demonstrating proven analytical skills with a 'can do' attitude – we're looking for someone who can propose, document, and deliver. 
• Defining concise, end-to-end user stories to drive both frontend and backend development in an agile environment.
• As our Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technology solutions.

Qualifications

Required: 

• Demonstrated BA delivery experience within agile scrum methodology, including detailed analysis, requirements elicitation activities, translating requirements into user stories, documenting the acceptance criteria and the As-Is and To-Be state. 
• Strong understanding of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. 
• Must be confident with using JIRA and Confluence. 
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills. 
• Experience in working with cross-functional agile teams in remote and on-site environments, including Engineering, Product, Design, and Quality Assurance.
• A blend of technical and business BA experience.
• Experience in working with cross-functional agile teams in remote and on-site environments, including Engineering, Product, Design, and Quality Assurance.
• Has the ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing priorities and can work independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of digital design and connectivity with the backend.

Preferred: 

• Solid understanding of the end-to-end home loan application lifecycle to be able to drive lending specific requirements. 
• BAU support experience including resolving Helpdesk tickets (desirable).
