Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst will manage regular analytics and data requests, including data validation, quality reporting, cleanup,

architecture, and visualization, while also spearheading improvements in data processes. This position will serve as the primary

resource for data and analysis inquiries related to Secure Power Technical Support and all related datasets. Furthermore, the role

will encompass developing and/or overseeing solutions like dashboards, data pipelines, and automated scripts to optimize daily

functions. Profound knowledge of the operations of the Secure Power Technical Support business is essential for effectively

addressing business-related queries in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be the Primary point of contact for updating and maintaining the existing SP Tech

Support Dashboards and will oversee the automated reports generation process.

• The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in business data being handled in the above reports and

solutions, answering queries coming from the main stakeholders customers, as well as interface with various internal

contacts to collaborate on data and addressing its requirements

• Working on existing / new reports the candidate should be completely at ease with all aspects of Tableau Desktop,

Tableau Server, Tableau Online, Alteryx, SQL Server, and all similar/related technologies.

• Candidate should have an in depth understanding of ETL process and is comfortable working with complex T-SQL

queries. The candidate will be responsible for writing queries to extract the required data as well as creating the

visualizations.

• Must have good communication skill as the role might require direct communication with the stakeholders

• Must be good in data analysis, understand data and propose analytical dashboard and data visualization

• Familiar with the Project Lifecycle process from requirements gathering, development, testing, user acceptance,

deployment, and support.

• Other functions and capabilities include: Data wrangling and manipulation, SQL Data Modelling, SQL Data Exploration,

Tableau Dashboard Development, Python Scripting, and some project management activities in a limited capacity

Qualifications

Education: § Bachelor's degree in any Computer- or IT-related course, Statistics, or similar

Working Experience: § Minimum 3-4 years hands-on experience in Tableau v10, MS SQL, ETL and Excel

Others (e.g. language

skills, technical skills): § Knowledgeable in T-SQL, Alteryx, and/or Python, able to manipulate and transform data using these platforms § Creating Analytical dashboards and enhance data visualization using Tableau. § Exposure to different database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Redshift, etc. § Knowledgeable in SalesForce and SalesForce reporting § Ability to navigate through different data sources with ease, and is able to create processes around them for centralization § Ability to come up with initiatives and create project requirements gathering and technical documentation. § Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
