Title: Senior Business Analyst – Dept. of Education Exp Req Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 1/day a week) Duration: Long-term Contract Note: Local to Austin or Texas candidate only. Job description: • 8 Years – Required: Experience eliciting requirements through customer interviews and creating well-written system requirements. • 8 Years – Required: Experience with Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs). • 8 Years – Required: Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement experience. • 8 Years – Required: Experience developing user stories and use cases that follow business analysis best practices. • 8 Years – Required: Experience designing mockups and/or wireframes in line with UX best practices. • 5 Years – Required: Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills. • 3 Years – Required: Documented experience working for, or closely with, TEA or another state education agency. • 3 Years – Preferred: Documented work experience with the requirements management softwareModern Requirements. • 3 Years – Preferred: Documented work experience with the issue-tracking softwareAtlassian Jira.
