Senior Character Artist | North America | Europe | Fully Remote

What we are looking for: 

We’re looking for a talented Senior Character Artist with a strong portfolio of both realistic and stylized characters. A passionate artist who breathes life into digital sculptures and shines in texturing work. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of skill sets and will actively participate in developing workflows and pipelines together with the team in Escape Velocity.

What we will do together: 

• Create beautiful character art from concept art and reference materials.
• Take inspiration from concept art to create high-quality character models, materials and textures.
• Adapt to the concept and style of the project.
• Understand and meet Character deadlines.
• Understand and improve robust character pipelines
• Integrate work in Unreal Engine
• Work with Concept artists, Riggers, Animators

What you will bring: 

• Experience in creating beautiful humanoid characters for games.
• Great skills in - Face and Clothing sculpting
• Experience with Creature sculpting is a plus
• Skill in Maya, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter
• High level of Artistry
• Experience with Unreal
• The creative and technical ability to hit great character appeal.
• A compelling portfolio, showcasing your character art skills and compelling characters.
