We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Cloud GCP Engineer to join our dynamic team.
As a Senior GCP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. • Play a key role in maintaining fault-tolerance, high-availability, scalability, and security on Google Cloud Infrastructure and Platform
• Develop and oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines with automated build and test systems
• Manage Production Deployment using Multiple Deployment Strategies
• Automate the Google Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Deployment with Infrastructure as Code
• Automate System Configurations using Configuration Management Tools
• Implement Microservices Concepts and Best Practices
• Facilitate application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
• Address issues promptly, with a mindset geared toward continuous improvement
• Carry out POCs to ensure suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
• Quickly learn the services used in the environment

• Background in cloud technologies with 5 to 8 years of overall experience and a minimum of 3 years of production experience on any public cloud
• Good communication skills
• Mentoring experience for system engineers and junior system engineers
• Proficiency in GCP Services: Compute(CE, AE, CF, GKE, CR, Pub/Sub), Storage, and Data tools
• Expertise in GCP Networking fundamentals including VPC, VPN, Peering, Interconnect, and GCP Security fundamentals such as IAM, Service Accounts, Workload Identity
• Skills in Container Orchestration and Container Registry - GCR
• Experience setting up Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, databases, firewall rules, etc., along with knowledge of Backup and Recovery methodology on GCP
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code Tooling like Terraform and at least one Configuration management tool like Ansible, Packer, Salt, Chef or Puppet
• Familiarity with Containerization (e.g., Dockers and Kubernetes)
• Understanding of Unix/Linux administration, Unix shell scripting (bash), and CI/CD Pipelines and tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Circle CI)
• Experience with Cloud Migration / Modernization including automated infrastructure discovery using GCP native tools and leveraging GCP migration toolset such as Migration Center, Database Migration Service, and Cloud Foundation Toolkit
• Knowledge of modernizing applications from VM/servers to container-based deployment architecture and optimization of Total Cost of Ownership in the GCP landscape

• Coding experience with modern languages like Python, Groovy
• Application development experience
