Your role

In the role of Senior Consultant you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Technology:

• Talent should possess over 12 years of hands-on Functional & Data testing experience for Oil and Gas upstream
• Talent should possess hands-on Functional testing experience for Oil and Gas upstream applications such as Geology, reservoir modelling and Geophysical applications.
• Talent should have working knowledge on different upstream specific tool sets such as petrel, and third party applications interfacing with such systems/tools.
• Talent should have very good understanding of Oil & Gas subsurface applications and their associated associated plugins.
• Talent should Manage all activities related to different oil and gas applications, workflow, customization, and enhancement
• Good understand of upstream applications used for Oil and Gas in managing oil wells and subsurface.
• Talent should be able to use code repos such as GIT, ADO and TFS.
• Talent should lead and manage testing resources across, monitored performance of the teams and ensured the delivery of testing/project objectives.
• Worked closely with stakeholders including Business Owners and Subject Matter Experts to gathering requirements and to understand the new applications to be deployed as part of major and minor deployments.
• Talent should possess adequate experience in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Non-Functional Testing, Smoke Testing, Compatibility Testing, and Image Testing.
• Talent should be able to evaluate different tools for automating applications and products and come up with Test Strategy for overall program.
• Well versed with automation testing tools and technologies such as C#, .Net, Specflow, Tosca and BDD.
• Talent should have good understanding of different types of applications such as web based, thick client and products etc.
• Talent should have good understanding of Testing processes and best practices followed.
• Talent should have clear understanding of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and data models.

Critical Thinking and Communication:

• Talent should be able to analyze the given scenario and come up with the test Strategy and Approach.
• Problem solving skills. Talent should have ability to solve the problem and situation applying his knowledge and skills.
• Talent should be able to resolve conflicts of interest in the team.
• Talent should be able to challenge if the person opposite is wrong.
• Ability to speak to customer: Talent should be able to speak to Product owner and understand the requirements by asking right questions.

Preferred

• Talent should have good understanding of different technologies used in application development and able to use automated test cases to perform testing.
• Talent with abilities to analyze and come up with appropriate Test scenarios by applying their knowledge and expertise to support our customer's needs.
• Talent with ability to adjust in continuously evolving projects and work with a team which is focused on next generation testing technologies.
