Senior Copywriter | Technical

Responsibilities

• Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s business and industry.
• Promote regulatory consistency and FDA compliance during project lifecycles, including fact checking with accurate referencing and citations.
• Develop creative strategies and ideas that are innovative and that sell.
• Concept and execute advertising consistent with the agreed-upon strategy.
• Under the direction of the Creative Director, see all work through completion on time
  and on budget.
• Work productively and harmoniously as a teammate with Brand leaders, Art Directors, Designers and Project Managers who share responsibility on a given project.
• Present creative materials to clients, as needed.
• Review proofs, rough cuts, etc. for accuracy before final production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years writing experience within a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency environment.
• Understand the project lifecycle of pharmaceutical advertising materials.
• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style; experience with medical, regulatory, legal reviews.
• Extremely detail oriented, thorough and accurate with the ability to understand and write medical and scientific terminology.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.
• Proven experience managing rapidly shifting priorities and deadlines in high-pressure situations.
