Senior Corporate Communications Manager

How you’ll be protecting the world:

As the Senior Corporate Communications Manager you will play a critical role in driving our brand story and building awareness for Venafi through strategic PR and organic social media activities. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing.

• Drive an integrated corporate communications strategy that aligns with Venafi’s mission goals and audiences.

• Manage and work closely with our global PR agencies to execute strategic PR and organic social media activities to drive impactful results across multiple channels including media relations thought leadership customer stories speaking opportunities awards and social content.

• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and identify compelling story angles to leverage in PR and social media efforts.

• Develop engaging PR and social media content including press releases thought leadership pieces award and speaking submissions corporate messaging and social posts.

• Partner cross-functionally with Content Brand Events Demand Gen Product Marketing and other teams to drive PR and social media strategies for relevant product launches events campaigns etc.

• Partner closely with key executives to build their thought leadership platforms.

• Track analyze and report on key PR and organic social media metrics.

The ideal Venafi Warrior will be armed with:

• 7+ years of communications or PR experience within the B2B technology space; experience in the security space preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications or a related field

• Experience managing PR and social media programs with a proven track record of successful results

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear concise messaging and create compelling storylines

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills effective at building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders

• Strategic and creative thinking

• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment

• Strong editing skills with general knowledge of AP rules

• Extensive knowledge of business press as well as security and technology trade press

• Motivated self-starter

• Agency experience preferred

The anticipated pay range for this position is $111000 to $131000. This is a general estimate for informational purposes only. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant qualifications experience and skills.
