Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Oversight • Oversee all financial activities, includingbudgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingfor multiple business units. • Develop and implementinternal controls, accounting policies, and financial proceduresto optimize financial efficiency. • Ensurecompliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific financial reporting(e.g., insurance trust accounts, real estate depreciation, construction cost tracking). Accounting & Reporting • Leadmonth-end and year-end financial close processes, including reconciliations for multiple entities. • Managecash flow, working capital, and debt financingto optimize financial health. • DevelopKPI-driven financial reportsto trackprofitability, cost efficiencies, and revenue growthacross divisions. • Implementautomated accounting systemsto streamline reporting forAMS360 (insurance), Appfolio (real estate), and Buildertrend/QuickBooks (construction). Billing, Receivables & Payables • Overseecommission tracking, agency bill payments, and direct bill reconciliationsin AMS360. • Develop and refinereal estate property billing cyclesfor tenants, investors, and property management entities. • Streamlineconstruction job cost tracking, subcontractor payments, and project financial audits. Risk Management & Compliance • Work closely withexternal auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodiesto ensure compliance withinsurance carrier contracts, financial audits, and real estate investor reporting. • Managetrust account reconciliations, policyholder premium tracking, and carrier payables. • Optimizefinancial risk management strategies, includingliability exposure, contract structuring, and tax planning. Leadership & Team Development • Lead and mentor a team ofaccountants, bookkeepers, and finance professionalsacross all business units. • Buildcross-functional collaborationwithexecutives, sales teams, and operations managersto drive financial efficiencies. • Enhancestaff productivity metrics, linkingfinancial performance with operational KPIs.
