Senior Data Analyst

Dynamis is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our Preparedness and Resilience division to lead our efforts in developing advanced analytics products; applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to data to solve problems, improve performance, inform decision makers, and generate value for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze internal and client data systems and identify opportunities to identifying and implement new ways to innovate processes, inform decision makers, reduce risk, and drive outcomes.
• Develop data pipelines and workflows to extract, transform, integrate, and analyze data from different databases.
• Develop models to analyze data, which can be applied to homeland security and emergency management initiatives.
• Test develop solutions against the requirements and acceptance criteria, be able to present developed solutions to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into the development process.
• Design, implement, and maintain data visualization solutions to present data making it easier to identify risks, analyze trends, and drive effective decision-making, present findings and data insights in creative ways to facilitate the understanding of data across a range of technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work with and advise clients and internal teams on ways to improve the collection and analysis of data sets.
• Work with the P&R Division Director to grow Dynamis's data science and analytics capabilities related to homeland security and emergency management.

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain CISA suitability (current CISA or DHS suitability is preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited University in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics or engineering
• Five (5) or more years of experience with gathering, cleansing, and parsing data
• Five (5) or more years of experience in data management, data analytics, data sciences, and data visualization in response to new and expanding requirements
• Experience using data frameworks and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, Power BI, Power Automate, Power BI Report Builder, ArcGIS, Alteryx, or Rhino/ Grasshopper) and the ability to adapt additional tools as needed
• Experience using statistical programming languages (e.g. Python, R, C, C+ +, Java, or SQL) and the ability to adapt additional languages as needed
• Experience briefing and presenting to senior leadership
• Experience with AI and machine learning (preferred)
• Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
