Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Job Description

The Financial Data and Automation Team drives the digital transformation of ABOUT YOU's Finance organization, collaborating closely with diverse teams across the company. We go beyond reporting and automation, unlocking value from Germany’s first e-commerce unicorn's extensive data ecosystem - spanning over €1.9 billion in group revenue, 4,000+ brands, and multiple revenue streams.

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d) to work with Business Intelligence, Finance, and other operational teams, creating impactful data solutions and insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop data models based on financial and operational data to enable complex analyses for our Finance teams
• Conduct complex quantitative analysis using SQL and other data sets, including BI, financial, operational, and transactional accounting data
• Lead end-to-end data-driven financial reporting projects using descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics, providing actionable insights for stakeholders
• Design and build dashboards in Google BigQuery and Google Looker Studio

Requirements

• University degree in Business Informatics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a comparable field
• Strong skills in data modeling using SQL and Python
• Proven ability to present data-driven insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability in dynamic environments
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous
• Experience with Google BigQuery or similar cloud solutions is a plus
