Senior Data Analytics Engineer in Clouds

We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer in Clouds to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the architecture of our data systems and applications. You will work closely with customers, peers, and vendors to resolve complex issues, develop strategic solutions, and ensure technical standards are maintained. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Kazakhstan, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Astana, Almaty or Karaganda.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and platform solutions in public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Develop data pipelines and migration of data from on-premises to public clouds and build components for central enterprise data platforms
• Design and implement new business requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years of production experience in Enterprise Data Platforms technologies
• Proficiency in public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) as well as with on-prem data technologies
• Understanding of relational database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and data warehouses
• Competency in data acquisition (API calls/FTP downloads), ETL, transformation/normalization (from raw to DB table schema structure), storage (Raw files, Database server), distribution & access (Entitlements for users, build of API and access points for data)
• Skills in ETL/ELT processing
• Understanding of building components for central data platforms (data warehouses, Operational Data Stores, Access layers with APIs, file extracts, user queries)
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, Kafka or other similar tools
• English level of writing and speaking: B2 and higher
