As a member of the Hospitality Solutions Data Team , you will collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to build, optimize, maintain, and secure the full data vertical including tracking instrumentation, information architecture, ETL pipelines, and tooling that provide key analytics insights for business-critical decisions at the highest levels of Product, Finance, Sales, CRM, Marketing, Data Science, and more. Your work will power the market research, funnel analysis, product performance, forecasting and modeling that will grow our business and that of our customers. All in a dynamic environment of continuously modernizing tech stack including highly scalable architecture, cloud-based infrastructure, and real-time responsiveness. • Design and implement the technical solutions for a variety of data-related projects - this can be writing queries and building pipelines, automating data processes, or modernizing our data infrastructure.
• Work closely with product, business, and other engineering teams to define requirements
• Be responsible for driving the development process of your projects, from design to implementation, QA and maintenance.
• Be responsible for the quality of code and documentation you produced
• Actively provide feedback on best practices and design patterns to your peers in the form of design reviews and code reviews
• Be a mentor to junior team members

• 6+ years of experience in general software development, of which at least 3 years were in a data related field
• Familiarity with technologies and toolings associated with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent) and data warehouses (Hadoop/Hive, Snowflake, or equivalent)
• Solid experience developing complex ETL processes; these should include defining SLA, performance measurements, and system monitoring
• Experience in OO or functional programming in Java, Python or equivalent languages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Sense of ownership in your work, enthusiasm for solving difficult problems, and willingness and ability to take on new technologies
