The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our fast-growing Network. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented you love what you do and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years in Data Engineering roles.
• Advanced SQL knowledge: complex queries performance tuning stored procedures.
• Strong understanding of Azure technologies: Azure SQL Database Data Factory etc.
• Proven experience in ETL development data integration and pipeline orchestration.
• Deep understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of data governance principles data quality management and data security best practices.
• Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours) we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics Data Lake and Azure DevOps.
• Expert in Power BI development including Power Query DAX and Power BI Service.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data processing.
• Git or other version control systems for collaboration and CI/CD practices.
• Microsoft certifications (Power BI Azure Data Engineer or SQL Server).

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory SQL and other Azure services.
• Implement complex data models DAX measures and calculated columns to support reporting.
• Manage and optimize ETL workflows ensuring data quality consistency and high performance.
• Design and maintain data warehouses and dimensional models (e.g. star/snowflake schema).
• Collaborate with analysts developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate data from various sources including SQL databases cloud storage APIs and flat files.
• Ensure data governance accuracy and integrity across the BI ecosystem.
