Senior Data Engineer (Senior Software Engineer II)

Our Integrations team plays a critical role in our success. We manage and scale data pipelines that ingest marketing data from third-party APIs ensuring it’s validated aggregated and delivered seamlessly to our customers. This team’s work is at the core of our platform’s value.

As a Senior Data Engineer you’ll tackle technical challenges to build scalable resilient and cost-efficient data systems. You’ll collaborate across teams to design solutions that meet our customers' emerging needs mentor other engineers and continuously seek ways to enhance our engineering processes.

  • Scope and own projects to build improve and maintain scalable data ingests and pipelines.

  • Design and implement solutions that are resilient well-monitored and cost-effective.

  • Lead technical initiatives working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to develop clear detailed technical specifications.

  • Share knowledge with your peers through design and code reviews fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Stay curious—evaluate emerging technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in our engineering processes.

  • Ownership and End-to-End Responsibility Engineers are encouraged to propose approaches lead projects and see them through to completion. This ownership ensures your ideas and expertise have a direct impact on our product and customers.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You have 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and deep expertise in AWS services (Redshift preferred).

  • You’re proficient with Python and have experience working with Kubernetes (K8s).

  • You’re comfortable ingesting data from third-party APIs and familiar with modern orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow).

  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) is second nature to you.

  • You have experience mentoring engineers and enjoy sharing your knowledge particularly in areas like data warehousing pipelines and architecture.

  • You have a product mindset balancing technical excellence with business needs to deliver scalable solutions.

  • You communicate complex topics clearly whether you’re writing technical specs or aligning stakeholders around a project plan.
