As a Data Scientist at Homebase, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and other business stakeholders to build data and data science-driven features. 

You will make an impact by

• Solving critical business problems across various areas using data analysis and data science. 
• Developing metrics to assess the end-user impact of the ML models (e.g, time-saved)
• Communicating the results of data science experiments to non-technical audiences
• Participating in the monthly DS demos to talk about data science to the wider company
• Working with our data and product engineering teams to productionize the data science models 
• Supporting Product, Engineering, and other leaders in data-driven decision-making.

You are a bar raiser, which means you come with

• 3+ years of experience in data science or related field
• Experience with various machine learning and statistical models
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• Ability to break down complex business problems into small constituent units
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
