Responsibilities

• Deploy innovative analytical solutions with Spark/PySpark, NoSQL, and other Big Data technologies
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to grasp requirements and influence decision-making
• Sustain collaboration with architects, technical leads, and key individuals across various functional groups
• Analyze business issues and technical environments to implement high-quality technical solutions
• Engage in code review and test solutions to align with best practice specifications
• Author project documentation

• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in Data Management, Data Storage, Data Visualization, Operation, and Security
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, Scala, or Kotlin
• Strong experience with SQL and familiarity with Big Data tools, primarily Spark/PySpark, and optionally Hadoop, Hive, and Flink
• Comprehensive understanding of Cloud Solutions for Data environments: AWS (Glue, RedShift), Azure (Databricks, Data Factory, Cosmos), GCP (BigQuery, DataProc, DataFlow)
• Understanding of CI/CD and software development with Big Data technologies
• Proficiency in software development with Big Data technologies including administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of data ingestion pipelines, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes
• Skills in data modeling and developing scalable, available, and fault-tolerant systems
• Analytical approach to problem-solving with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Motivated, independent, efficient, capable of working under pressure with a keen sense for setting priorities
• Knowledge of Containers and Resource Management systems like Docker, Kubernetes, and Yarn
• Experience in direct customer communications

• Experience with Event Streaming tools such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, Events Hub
• Knowledge of Orchestrator tools like Airflow and Databricks
• Understanding of Snowflake
