Exciting Opportunity: Sr. Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) - Hybrid in Manhattan, NY

We're looking for a senior Oracle DBA to join our client's team in Manhattan, NY, on a hybrid basis for a 12-plus-month contract. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Oracle databases, including Exadata and Exalogic systems.
• Manage and optimize Oracle Databases 19c with multitenant concepts (CDBs and PDBs).
• Leverage Oracle OEM Cloud Control and ZDLRA for backups and restores.
• Install, configure, and optimize Oracle databases on Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.
• Tune and optimize Oracle databases and queries to ensure peak performance.
• Administer Oracle DataGuard and GoldenGate for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with developers to coach and optimize queries and stored procedures.
• Plan and execute migrations to Exadata while implementing best practices for configuration and performance.

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Proficiency with Oracle Exadata, Exalogic, and Oracle Databases 19c.
• Hands-on experience with CDBs and PDBs, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle DataGuard.
• Expertise in Oracle OEM Cloud Control, ZDLRA, and tuning/optimizing Oracle databases.
• Experience working in Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Strong background in query optimization and database tuning.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience implementing vendor products.
