The Senior Delivery Manager ensures the flawless planning, execution, and delivery of complex software client projects & solutions. This includes the orchestration of resources, finances, and deliverables. They excel in end-to-end software consulting services delivery management, organizing teams, and enhancing client relationships. Their experience, instincts, and broad skill set are vital in steering client and internal teams toward achieving mutual goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple complex software projects ensuring high client satisfaction and successful delivery with strategic oversight and management.
- Collaborate with sales/VP Delivery on contract lifecycle management, especially those nearing expiration, and identify further client opportunities.
- Handle the end-to-end delivery process, from initial engagement to project close-out, ensuring the implementation of both agile and waterfall methodologies, as appropriate to the context.
- Closely manage software project scope, timeline, budget, client dependencies ensuring excellence in execution and proactive risk management.Â
- The Senior Delivery Manager role is critical in ensuring that delivery software service team skills are emphasized, rather than just coordinating projects as in a traditional program or project management role.
- Ensure the establishment and tracking of key delivery metrics and outcomes.
- Lead client escalations with strategic solutions, always emphasizing customer satisfaction.
- Drive delivery-centric discussions and strategies, prioritizing customer success and the potential for repeat business.
- Provide executive-level reporting on project status, financials, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Participate in the review of Statements of Work and create change requests as necessary to update and extend the project scope.
- Champion the delivery of value to clients by leveraging Green Irony’s Salesforce Delivery tools and financials, focusing on accountability and precision in invoicing.
- Craft and nurture a delivery culture that can work with clients from diverse sectors, focusing on the success of complex IT solutions.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, relationship-building, and proven delivery leadership leading to repeat business.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing delivery teams daily as part of the SDLC lifecycle, with a strong command of both agile and more traditional project management practices.
- Experience in a consulting environment with demonstrated delivery success across various technology platforms and client industries.
- Openness to candidates with experience in diverse environments, even if not directly involving Salesforce or Mulesoft platforms, acknowledging that excellent delivery skills are transferable.
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on cultivating long-term relationships with various organizational stakeholders.
- Ability to directly manage cross-functional delivery teams across clients, vendors, and Green Irony.
- Industry experience in strategic sectors such as transportation & logistics, travel & hospitality, or related fields is highly valued.Â
- Adaptability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms as part of delivery management responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% if required.
- Desired Certifications:
- PMP Certification
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
- Salesforce Admin (Not a requirement but beneficial)
- Any relevant industry credentials that demonstrate expertise in delivery management and methodologies
