Bounteous is looking for a Contract Senior Designer to join our fast-growing design practice. The Senior Designer designs and contributes to creative concepts, detailed design, enhancements, and execution of digital media (websites, mobile applications, social media assets, email templates, etc.) for a wide variety of clients. The ideal candidate must be able to design, develop, or enhance existing graphic/identity branding that meets marketing objectives, integrates customer usability best practices, and address client brand standards. This is a hands-on opportunity ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can consistently deliver high quality, data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is a naturally engaging storyteller who works closely with cross-disciplinary teams to further best practices at every opportunity.

Role and Responsibilities

• Expertise in your craft, tools, and process
• A passion for all aspects of design including web design, conceptual thinking, typography, motion, and imagery.
• Natural curiosity about current design trends and methodologies, especially in the digital and interactive space
• Application of your design thinking and execution skills throughout the entire product lifecycle, recognizing opportunities to step in and step up
• Collaborative development of exceptional user experiences through participation in brainstorming, concept creation, team reviews and client work sessions
• Creation, presentation, and production of engaging digital brand experiences that solve for business and user objectives with limited oversight
• Designing products and adapting brand guidelines to create scalable, accessible design systems.
• Openness to fostering relationships and working collaboratively on a cross-disciplinary team, soaking in and sharing knowledge, insights, and ideas freely
• Effective time management skills and proactive communication with project team members
• Responsibility for the quality of your work from initial concepts and through detailed design and development
• A presence on your team that is flexible, additive, honest and humble

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of visual design experience, preferably some in an agency environment.
• Strong portfolio of relevant work
• Experience designing for web and mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Strong foundation in UX design
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong presentation skills, excelling at communicating design concepts to non-design stakeholders (internal and client)
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics programs a plus
