FL97 is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that align with FL97's cutting-edge biotechnology research.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and deploying serverless architectures, with a focus on simplicity and efficiency.
• Implementing cloud-based solutions, primarily using AWS, with a strong emphasis on security and compliance standards.
• Developing infrastructure as code using tools like Pulumi, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation/CDK.
• Orchestrating workflows using Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Batch, with experience in microservices and blue-green deployment strategies.
• Containerizing applications using Docker and managing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development.
• Implementing monitoring and observability tooling, along with strong security practices in coding and identity management.
• Managing system configurations and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Writing scripts and automations in Python, contributing to various DevOps tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in DevOps, with specific skills in microservices, blue-green deployments, and chaos engineering.
• Strong understanding of security practices, including secure coding, identity and access management, and compliance with standards like GDPR and HIPAA.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, serverless architecture, workflow orchestration, and containerization.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on security and efficiency.
• Knowledge in monitoring, observability, configuration management, RESTful API development, and Python programming.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with development, operations, and security teams.
