This person will be responsible for supporting compliance reporting for over 300000 devices globally. This person will have the opportunity to run projects and make enhancements in this environment. They will be spending about 80% of their time completing key Beekeeper projects objectives and transforming the application to a modernized architecture using microservices. This redesign will take a significant amount of time and will be the primary focus of this person. Once the Beekeeper redesign is complete the remaining 20% of their time will be spent troubleshooting supporting and maintaining workflows within the Mobile@IBM Program.
As Software Developer for Beekeeper/Mobile@IBM you will play a vital role within the Office of the CIO supporting the Beekeeper application. You will be an integral part of the Mobile@IBM team contributing to internal deployments across IBM and ensuring compliance reporting for all platforms.
Responsibilities:
Share responsibility for the successful deployment and management of the Beekeeper application within the IBM ecosystem.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance reporting for all platforms.
- Collaborate with platform engineering and other foundational services to achieve strategic objectives.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in IT industries fostering innovative and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to resolving issues and managing projects.
- Effectively navigate and manage complex technical challenges across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
- Should be proficient in Python
- Understanding database management using Postgres.
- Experience using scripting language-Bash.
- Experience developing on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Proficiency in Node.js and Go.
- Experience with ETL (extract transform load) processes and compliance reporting tools.
- Experience with the CIO Cirrus hybrid cloud environment is a plus.
