About the Role:

We are looking for an extremely talented Senior Development Manager to lead our Productivity Engineering Team. You will be part of a global agile group that is responsible for building the best in class SaaS platform, deployment infrastructure, and services. The position will require a candidate to measure and improve the pace of innovation of our secure software development process and our customer escalation process across Engineering.

What you'll do:

• Passion for building high-performance software development tools and processes
• Design and improve build pipelines for Coupa microservices and applications CI/CD
• Monitor and scale Github action and Jenkins infrastructure
• Own internal developer portal and IDE license administration
• Engage in building out continuous delivery pipelines with the Cloud Ops Internal Tools team
• Partner with the AppSec and Compliance teams to implement security controls in build pipelines
• Partner with the QE Test Infrastructure team on shared infrastructure and components
• Lead the enablement of Github Copilot and track productivity metrics
• Improve Coupa application logging and partner with dev teams to reduce clone usage
• Partner with dev & support teams to implement support tools for Coupa applications
• Take ownership of base application images (Rails, Java, .Net…)
• Participate in development and operational design reviews with a focus on Developer Experience
• Be a champion for Developer Experience and seek contributions from across engineering teams
• Evaluate new productivity technologies and make recommendations to leadership team
• Experience developing in languages such as Java, Ruby and Python

What you will bring to Coupa:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Productivity Engineering Manager
• Experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Ruby, Python
• Expertise in developing high performance build pipelines
• Knowledge of common build framework such as Jenkins, Teamcity, Github
• Knowledge of log management systems such as Splunk, New Relic, Datadog
• Experience designing, estimating, and leading the implementation of complex build pipelines
• Proven understanding of software development and application logging best practices
• Experience working with cloud technologies from Amazon or Azure
• Proven ability to take projects from design to development to delivery
• Self-motivated, passion for learning, great motivator, strong communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or equivalent experience
