Senior DevOps Engineer

• Improve the safety, security, and reliability of our system while managing costs
• Increase developer throughput by improving processes and tooling for deployment, observability, monitoring, and alerting
• Build tooling to make your own job easier
• Take the lead on developing and implementing solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate with teammates in DevOps and the larger organization
• Enable other engineers on your team to be successful

• Linux system administration skills
• Solid understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, and DNS
• AWS management experience
• Familiarity with container build and deployment processes
• Experience administering a CI/CD workflow
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Familiarity with Python or another high-level, general-purpose programming language
• Experience working on a professional development team

• AWS CloudFormation
• Ansible
• A little bit of Java - it’s useful to understand the application codebase even if you won’t spend that much time in it
• GitHub Actions or Travis CI
• Have participated in compliance efforts for audit frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
• MongoDB database management

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 + equity. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
