Senior Digital Strategist

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a Senior Digital Strategist for a hybrid opportunity with a digital marketing agency based in New York, New York. This is a full-time role, onsite three times per week. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get in on the ground floor of onboarding a large client and help build a strategic business unit within the agency. You’ll work cross-functionally to shape brand identity, develop lifecycle marketing strategies, and contribute to innovative digital campaigns across multiple channels. Senior Digital Strategist Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, target audience, and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning. • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing and lifecycle marketing strategies, including email marketing, website experience, social media, content marketing, and martech solutions. • Establish email marketing best practices and benchmarks, identifying and tracking key performance indicators to optimize engagement. • Create robust segmentation strategies aimed at personalizing the customer journey and maximizing every touchpoint in the customer lifecycle. • Develop rigorous testing strategies to continually optimize programs, including identifying opportunities for A/B testing. • Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights to optimize and improve results. • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to clients, showcasing campaign performance and strategic recommendations. • Develop and deliver high quality, compelling client presentations, new business presentations, POVs, and briefs (internal and external). • Build successful relationships and identify new opportunities with existing clients and business units. Senior Digital Strategist Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on digital strategy development and campaign management. • Must have experience with Brand Strategy: Identity, brand messaging, 360 experience at the brand level, etc. • Must have some experience with Email, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, and integrated tactical digital media like email marketing, websites, etc. • Proven track record of delivering successful digital marketing campaigns that meet or exceed client goals. • Ability to build great looking, clear, and concise PowerPoint and Google Slides. • Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and marketing automation & analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Marketo, etc). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and execute solutions with minimal management. • Proactive, passionate, and motivated, with the ability to work well independently and within cross-functional teams. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to prioritize effectively. • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including websites, SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and team members.
