LocationOur Senior Director of Learning & Organizational Development will be an integral part of our Employee Experience leadership at WillowTree. To help retain our deep culture of collaboration, this role will maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid (Work From Near) capacity in our Charlottesville, VA HQ.

The Senior Director of Learning & Organizational Development will work at the nexus of strategic leadership and tactical execution and expertise to equip the organization and our team. Responsibilities- Lead and direct our onboarding program to ensure new team members have a great experience and are prepared to be effective contributors to their teams
- Manage the development, design, planning, and evaluation of programs to facilitate the continuous learning and development of our teams
- Leverage your creativity and expertise to lead the creation of skills-development programs that are effective, enjoyable, and memorable
- Be the subject-matter expert and maintain ownership of our Learning Management System, including updating content, promoting engagement, and ensuring we maximize the value of this resource.Â
- Collaborate with discipline leadership to identify skill gaps and define capabilities that elevate organizational, team, and individual performance
- Partner with leaders across the organization to build L&D into existing workflows and schedules and empower individuals to take ownership of their learning
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from leaders for new programming to meet emergent needs and goals; and seamlessly reprioritize as needed.
- Design learning for both technical and professional growth built around WT core values, management responsibilities, and key leadership skills
- Ensure initiatives and approaches are measurable and are aligned with business objectives to achieve business goals and strategic direction
- Play a critical role in the development of leadership development programs that focus on creating a diverse and capable leadership team
- Evaluate and reprogram our existing dedicated internal learning time
- Deeply understand the competitive landscape WillowTree operates in and continually use that knowledge to refine our development programs
- Work closely with discipline leaders as well as leaders in HR and Talent Acquisition to analyze and improve our career development programs
- Travel to WillowTree offices and event sites may be required on an ad hoc basis, no more than 5%.
- Successfully led the development and management of a significant in-house learning and development program. You have a demonstrated ability to incorporate various learning approaches into your programs that maximize effectiveness
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, understand business needs, and translate ideas to action that have a real organizational impact
- Understand the importance of inclusion in the workplace and have incorporated DEI learning into your programs
- Experience measuring outcomes of programs at an individual, team, and enterprise level with a focus on ROI over time. Has the ability to translate data-driven insights into practical applications and programmatic improvements.Â
- Experience with a comprehensive skills evaluation and targeted program development across departmentsÂ
- Can balance the operational and organizational work of a large initiative with the creativity and attention to detail that produces a successful outcome
- Experience incorporating new service lines and acquisitions into your existing programs
- Background or experience in a tech industry or consultancy settingÂ
- Knowledgeable with WorkRamp or other similar LMS

Additional Compensation: This position will include Unit Appreciation Rights (UARs) as part of WillowTree’s Performance Incentive Program. A UAR gives you the opportunity to receive additional compensation based on WillowTree’s future revenue and gross margin performance.
