We're seeking a Senior Director of Operations to oversee our Piatti Brand-https://piatti.com/This position will be based out of our flagship location and home office in Mill Valley, CA, relocation assistance is available.While you'd be working under Palisades Hospitality, your employment entity will be Piatti. Locations are throughout CA with one location in Seattle, WA and two in San Antonio, TX and will continue to expand. This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days in the home office and the ability to travel frequently is required. Candidates must have experience overseeing multi-unit restaurant operations. WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF RESTAURANT BRAND OPERATIONS? The Senior Director of Brand Operations is a key position in aligning and moving the Piatti brand forward, built on a foundation of a people focused culture where quality, consistency and creativity is the roadmap. Also responsible for working with our Regional Director of Operations and General Managers to drive service culture, food quality and consistency and overall restaurant performance. This is a field based position and travel will be required. This position will be heavily involved in the brand expansion including pre-opening and opening endeavors, working closely with the pre-opening team. To succeed, this Director must be an inspirational leader, for both front and back of house, supporting and executing the brands' vision. This person must have the ability to spark creativity amongst the team and ignite new ideas across existing restaurants as well as future projects, balanced with leadership and business acumen to drive results through quality standards and expectations. Success will be measured by the financial results of thee properties, the fanatic loyalty of our guests, and the retention and development of our employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Building brand strength through Financial performance, KPI and expansion. Support and embody a company culture in line with the mission, vision, and values of Palisades Hospitality. Develop strategies based in a culture of creativity, for identifying new and unique opportunities for revenue generation within the Piatti brand. Recruit and train new leaders within the brand Develop and execute any new company initiative rollouts to your team, with the support of relevant functional department heads. Create annual business plans for each of the restaurants with the support of the property leadership team. Maintain a quality culture by setting clear expectations for restaurant General Managers and Chefs and ensuring company standards are adhered to Ensure the guest dining experience is remarkable in all aspects. Work collaboratively across functional departments of the company including Accounting + Finance, Marketing, IT and People + Culture in fostering desired business results through both the guest and employee experience. Work collaboratively with the other members of the senior Operations team to create, edit and/or advance useful tools, initiatives, and strategies for the field. Lead the oversight of portfolio-wide annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, ongoing marketing, and operating planning. Key point of contact with Ownership groups and brand partners. Pro-actively identify deficiencies and progress in your teams' performance and address in a timely manner. Ensure that restaurant operations are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and fully aligned with franchise operating agreements.
