Job Description

UzAssystem is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with extensive experience in renewable energy projects, particularly in wind and solar power plant design and construction. The ideal candidate will possess a background in civil or electrical engineering and demonstrate a strong ability to manage large-scale projects from inception to completion. This role requires expertise in design review, team management, and technical guidance across various engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee large-scale wind and solar power plant projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
• Conduct thorough design reviews with a focus on structural and architectural elements, ensuring robust and efficient project designs.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including developers, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with project goals.
• Ensure that all engineering work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience, with at least 7-8 years in the renewable energy sector, specifically in owner engineering.
• Extensive experience in the design and construction of wind and/or solar power plants.
• Strong knowledge of wind energy systems, including turbines, substations, and grid integration.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects.
• Experience in design review, particularly in structural and architectural design.
• Preferable qualifications: Civil Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
• Excellent team management skills and the ability to lead cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
• English proficiency is mandatory. Knowledge of Uzbek and/or Russian is an advantage.
