Senior Executive - Commercial

Skills - Familiarity with QC Standards, Cost analysis of Materials, Strong communication skills, Knowledge of MM module in SAP and additional knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management System) will be given additional advantage.

Job Description

• Proven work experience as a Purchase and stores material Planning

• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors) Understanding of supply chain and production planning procedures

• Knowledge of SLOB in inventory reconciliation.

• Prepare the database of suppliers/vendor for all required material.

• Interacting with various suppliers for inviting quotation.

• Preparing comparative statement of quotations received from vendors.

• Check bill/invoices received from vendors against GRNs received from site and coordinate with vendor for any discrepancies in bill/invoice.

• Keeping track of material requirements received from various sites and timely supply of materials as per requirement raised.

• Prepare & issue purchase order to selected vendors & confirm, also confirm the delivery date & time for the same.

• Regular follow up with vendors for timely delivery on site. Coordinate with sites/stores for deliveries and any discrepancies in material received.

• Ensure accurate and timely updating of TMS/SAP at all stages of purchase process as per SOP.

• Adherence to purchase procedures defined in SOP.

• Prepare and timely submit various MIS reports as per SOP.

• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.

• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

• Knowledge of Purchase, Materials Management, Warehousing practices, Stores Management, FIFO and GMP practices, good planning and Organizing Skills, High Flexibility and Problem Solving
