Your new role
The ideal candidate will lead data-driven analyses to drive the growth of Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming DTC business across the Asia-Pacific region. This role entails crafting a comprehensive understanding of customer insights and analytics, encompassing acquisition, lifecycle, engagement and retention drivers. By transforming data into actionable insights, the candidate will create compelling insights and business recommendations. These efforts will directly contribute to measurable growth in customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Your Role Accountabilities
Deep Dive Analytics:
- Lead in-depth analyses on marketing performance and customer behavior, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimization of growth marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing and Retention & Engagement teams to optimize acquisition and retention campaigns across various channels.
- Generate actionable insights by synthesizing user-level behavioral data across various platforms (e.g. Looker)
Business Insights Generation:
- Contribute to ongoing reporting needs for regional and global leadership across key marketing KPIs and metrics
- Work with growth marketing stakeholders to track performance of and drive effectiveness of various marketing initiatives across entire customer funnel.
Leveraging Data Science Best Practices:
- Collaborate & partner with global data science and analytics teams on best practices and implementation of local customizations
- Help foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and best practices within the team to enhance capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or greater in quantitative field of study (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, etc.)
- Proven ability to analyze data to extract insights and craft a compelling narrative for business stakeholders
- Data analytics background of 2+ years across consulting/banking/analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; Excel proficiency a must
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with fast-paced and demanding environments, possessing high level of intellectual curiosity, and strong judgment in the face of ambiguity
