Department OverviewYou will be part of multi-disciplined project team dedicated to work on design and delivery of complex mission critical voice and data systems.
The systems may be used directly by our customers or by Motorola Solutions to deliver Managed Services to our customers.
You will work in the post sales phases of projects as well as support multiple projects in parallel depending on size and complexity.
Job Description

Basic Requirements

• Fluent in English and Italian

• At least 3 years of professional engineering experience in Telecommunication System, IP Transport Network, IT, Field Service, Technical Support or those equivalent

• Excellent knowledge in MotoTrbo Capacity Max or other DMR Tier III radio communication system

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Juniper Network Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or higher certification

• Excellent knowledge in Operating System and Application (Unix, Window, Virtualization Technology etc.)

• Good knowledge in Radio Frequency (Base Station TX/RX, Mobile /Portable Radio, RF test equipment)

• Manual skills for field work like wiring, soldering, physical installation of equipment in addition to commissioning and testing tasks.

• Valid Driving license

• Availability and willingness to travel (80%), inside and outside residence country

• Willingness to obtain relevant Security Clearance to enter customer site

• A University degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required

  We value skills, experience and demonstrated ability over formal qualification.

Experience in the implementation & testing of one or more of the following would be added advantage: 

• Video Security Solutions

• Command and Control Systems

• Other Motorola Solutions' Mission Critical communication technology e.g. DIMETRA and WAVE/Kodiak

• LTE RAN and EPC
