Role Description

Respond.io is expanding rapidly, aiming for a $1 billion valuation following our successful Series A funding. We seek a visionary Senior Finance Executive to lead financial initiatives, manage complex projects, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will drive financial stability and growth through expert analysis, strategic leadership, and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex financial projects involving cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and project completion.
  • Provide expert analysis and propose solutions for intricate financial issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in handling detailed financial tasks and analyses.
  • Oversee and optimize financial processes, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address systemic financial issues, enhancing overall financial stability.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of comprehensive financial reports and projects.
  • Lead initiatives to improve accuracy, reduce errors, and enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
  • Develop compelling financial narratives and reports, ensuring stakeholders understand financial implications and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a significant portion within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) are highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial principles, regulatory requirements, and advanced financial analysis techniques.
  • Proven track record of leading complex financial projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure the accuracy of financial reports and data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement robust financial solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing finance team.
