The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of EMEA Accounting Controllership Organization and will be reporting to META /Accounting Assistant Zone Controller with due focus to perform end to end accounting in the RTR function. It is instrumental in supporting the Zone Controller to ensure an accurate and timely book close: monthly, quarterly and year end. The role requires the individual to monitor and analyze accounting data and ensure compliance to the Eaton Financial Policies, legal and GAAP requirements with responsibility of implementing procedures to improve the internal control environment and streamline efforts.

What you'll do:

• Maintain and ensure very good quality of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for the ledgers under responsibility as per Eaton policies and procedures.
• Ensure solid financial controls are in place including month end checklists and maintain proper supporting and approvals for any financial accruals.
• Ensure all Compliance and SOX required documentation is maintained and prepared as per the deadlines.
• Ensure that the team follows the Eaton policies and procedures for accounting processes.
• To promote and maintain adherence to US GAAP and Eaton Corporate Policies.
• To implement Eaton new policies where appropriate and follow Eaton existing policies where applicable.
• To ensure that financial reports are prepared timeously and accurately in compliance with respective GAAP, corporate guidance materials, legal and fiscal regulations.
• To provide financial, accounting advice and to provide documentation of accounting entries.
• To support statutory financial reporting and external audits.
• To maintain and ensure good quality of Balance Sheet Reconciliations for the ledgers under the responsibility.
• To ensure solid financial controls are in place including month end checklists and maintain proper supporting and approvals for journal entries.
• To ensure internal and SOX required documentation is maintained and prepared as per the deadlines.
• To ensure Team follows the Eaton policies and procedures for all accounting processes and ensure the required training for the Team.
• To ensure strong financial controls including month-end checklists, balance sheet reconciliations, and all other analysis supporting appropriate financial accruals.
• To ensure smooth and effective fulfilment of day-to-day activities by RTR team and build organization capabilities through training and coaching.
• To support and provide input and advice to business leaders on all accounting and financial aspects.
• To support on CAPEX and prepare required analysis for all ledgers.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by the head of finance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CA) or majors in accounting/finance.
• 6+ years' work experience in accounting field preferably in multinational companies.

Skills:

• Must have an end-to-end knowledge on accounting process specifically for general ledger activities
• Good experience of SAP
• Preferably knowledge of USGAAP and knowledge of direct and indirect tax
• Excellent analytical, written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across boundaries/business lines.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge
• Collaboration with all stakeholders to support overall goals and objectives, working closely with the Team Lead to achieve the required goals in a given timeline
• Documentation, including maintenance of appropriate review documentation and audit trails
